The Cost Of Depression
[ send me this paper ]
It is a somewhat obvious observation that there
are many levels and types of cost associated with depression. The
financial aspects reach into almost every aspect of life for the
individual, businesses and the nation. The emotional cost is also of
extreme importance, however, is not easily measured or compensated.
This 7 page paper asserts that the influences on the cost of depression
are so varied for each individual and every situation that it is
difficult to put a price tag on the diagnosis, treatment and
repercussions of this debilitating disease and it's consequences.

[ send me this paper ]
A 5 page review of this classic investment guide. First published almost thirty years ago this book provides tremendous insight into the investment world of Wall Street. Malkiel’s philosophy is actually quite simple. He views the active management of mutual funds too complex and unsure for the individual investor. So too is the management of securities. Instead, Malkiel recommends the purchase of a broad range of index funds. No additional sources are listed.
