Douglass v. The Confederacy

A 5 page research paper which examines how the antebellum South was viewed through the eyes of white Southerners and then through the eyes of ex-slave Frederick Douglass. Using the work of Drew Faust in his book on the development of Confederate nationalism, the writer shows how white Southerners considered themselves to be deeply religious people.
