Should Drug Testing Be Required of High School Athletes?
[ send me this paper ]
A 9 page paper arguing against the blanket testing of high school athletes for indications of drug use. The proliferation of drug use among athletes has caused many to decide that all of them should be tested, regardless of age. There are many reasons, however, that high school athletes should be exempted from such testing, not the least of which is the Fourth Amendment. Even though the Constitution protects the country's citizens from undue search, there are other reasons to abandon drug testing of high school athletes, most of which revolve around lessons in physiology and the possibilities of economic gain from high school contests. Bibliography lists 7 sources.

Sports Psychology and Making the Physical and Mental Comeback
from Injury
[ send me this paper ]
This 10 page report discusses the processes, bothe
mental and physical, associated with an athlete’s recovery from
an injury and his or her return to their sport. When a person is
injured while participating in a beloved sport or in a way
unrelated to sports but that curtails sports capabilities, it
carries a level of fear that their injury will keep them from
their sport. There is also the fear that “recovery” will not
mean the original level of sporting excellence. Bibliography
